Itinerary & Hotel information
Friday, September 24
•Student guided tour of NJC
5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
•Welcome Reception at Neuchâtel Junior College
5:30 p.m. –7:30 p.m.
Pension families are welcome. Invitations will be sent upon request. Please provide the name and contact information of your family to Lyn Perrenoud at lyn@njc.ch.

Saturday, September 25
•Swiss tradition in Lignières: The Désalpe de Lignières celebrates the centuries-old tradition of transhumance: the time when the cows come down from mountain pastures for the winter. (Bus will depart from NJC @noon and return @2:30 p.m. Times will be confirmed at the "Welcome Reception".)
•Alumni Dinner at Le Pinte de Pierre-à-Bôt: “Le plus grand choix de fondues de Neuchâtel.”
Bus departs NJC at 5:30 p.m.
Cocktails 6:00 p.m. (Cash bar)
Dinner 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Wine included)
•La Fête des Vendanges
Sunday, September 26
2:30 p.m.: The Grand Cortege et Corso Fleuri. Tickets are @CHF 12.-- and are available along the parade route. Bring your confetti!
Booking travel and accommodation
Hotels
We have reserved rooms for three nights (Friday, September 24 to Monday, September 27) at the following hotels. Please book your rooms as soon as possible by contacting the hotels directly and please mention that you are part of the Neuchâtel Junior College group - mention the Group Number if booking at Hotel Beaulac.
Hotel Beaulac (4-star) is located on the lake, approx. 8-minute walk up to NJC.
A double room is CHF 365.-- per night. Breakfast is an additional CHF 25.--
We have reserved 15 rooms “doubles de catégorie supérieure”. They will be held until July 1, 2010.

Hôtel Alpes et Lac (3-star) is located next to the school and across from the Gare.
We have reserved 17 doubles (two person occupancy) on the lakeside at Fr. 220.-- including breakfast and 3 on the gareside at Fr. 188.-- including breakfast.
